Various media outlets are reporting that Allen Iverson via his twitter account has announced that he will be playing for the Memphis Grizzlies this upcoming NBA season. Reports have estimated Iverson's one year contract to be within the range of $3.5 million for this season along with a series of incentives. I gotta applaud Bubbachuck for just wanting to play, and not chasing a check. No denying the love he has for the game.

This will definitely be a year for his fans or detractors to say, "I told you so!" I'm skeptical because that team isn't built for defense and has at least 3 guys who are shoot first, ask questions later. If nothing else, Beale Street will be hopping!
I hope he does show everyone he has something left in the tank. Seems like everyone kinda left him for dead. Really worried about how he and Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo are going to be able to play off of each other.
